I love the Amazing Race. It is the one reality show that I would totally do. I'd pick Adam for my partner as default but I'd happily do it with my tough-cookie of a sister, Kathy or my smart and sassy sisters Melissa or Lora or actually any of my siblings. They're all athletic, smart and fun to be around.
Anyway, this season's Amazing Race ended last night and I was SO disappointed. The cowboys didn't win and they really deserved to win. They're hard work, great attitudes and sensibility got them second place but I really wanted to see them win the whole shootin' match.
The Brothers (boo! hiss!) won and just to give you an idea of their complete lameness--they'd before watched Star Wars. Amazing that two boys in their thirties had never experienced the phenom that we call Star Wars. Maybe they should have watched this:
My boys love Star Wars legos. In fact, David is taking his nap upstairs right now, resting his head next to a little Star Wars guy. It doesn't get much better than a show that can take you all over the world, experiencing the culture and language of a dozen different countries AND end it with a trip through the George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic where you get to be in a Star Wars video game. Pretty cool.
