I've been working on this project, and can I just say, it is taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Anyway, during the brainstorming/creative phase, I needed cheerleaders around me––people who told me I was great, that my project was awesome and gave me helpful, but safe critiques. Now that I'm at the final stages, I need something else. I need a stranger. Someone who doesn't care about hurting my feelings. Someone who will be brutally honest, but in a constructive way.
Am I alone in this? Do you want the cheerleaders all the time and never the honest type? Or are you tougher than I am, and look for the harsh reality, no matter the circumstance?
My two favorite muppets. I'll take criticism from them any day.
Okay, enough with the reflective stuff. I've got to go. My son just walked in wearing my t-shirt (head through the arm hole), his dad's shoes and watch––clearly a model at heart.
